Here is the mailbox that inspired this blog. It was in Columbus, Ohio, on Dublin Road north of Trabue Road - no longer accepting mail, as a new cousin stands across the road. Send in your pictures of rusty mailboxes to join it!

RM #170

Wayland Kramer sends us this one saying, "Just outside of Washington, D.C., in the once rural community of Damascus, Maryland, a little bit of country can still be found. This mailbox is still in use by the USPS and a seasonal family of wasps." Not much of this mailbox can rust but the part than can is certainly doing the job.

Thanks, Wayland!
