Here is the mailbox that inspired this blog. It was in Columbus, Ohio, on Dublin Road north of Trabue Road - no longer accepting mail, as a new cousin stands across the road. Send in your pictures of rusty mailboxes to join it!

RM #53 and RM #54

Kurt Clark sends two from his neck of the woods with his descriptions.

RM #53 - "Awkward Delivery"
"Awkward Delivery" is in the Ivanhoe neighborhood of Bellevue, Washington, still in use. One side of the structure is closer to the ground than the other, the boxes are mismatched, and the whole assembly is covered in "character."

RM #54 - "Big Old Mailbox"
Here's "Big Old Mailbox," in front of a 1930s house in Redmond, Washington. The people who built this home once owned all the land in the area, which is now covered by 1960s and 1970s suburban subdivisions. Still in use.

Again, double thanks, Kurt!
