Here is the mailbox that inspired this blog. It was in Columbus, Ohio, on Dublin Road north of Trabue Road - no longer accepting mail, as a new cousin stands across the road. Send in your pictures of rusty mailboxes to join it!

RM #266

Ray Semrad sent us this one, saying, "I walk by this mail box almost every day. It is located in Parsons, Kansas, on the edge of town. It sits in front of an old farm house on the edge of town. It was still in use about a year and a half ago. A little older lady was always sitting out on her screened in porch. She passed on and the house was recently sold and is being remodeled. I hope the new owners keep the mail box. It has such character!"

Thanks, Ray!
