Here is the mailbox that inspired this blog. It was in Columbus, Ohio, on Dublin Road north of Trabue Road - no longer accepting mail, as a new cousin stands across the road. Send in your pictures of rusty mailboxes to join it!

  1. You are welcome! I would never thought about there could be a group of fans of this kind of mailboxes, but in fact, they have their own, unique and special identity and atmosphere which takes you to dream and think about lots of poetry about the speed of the time. Specially the time when people waited for a letter, which now are disappearing changing by the instant email.

With the change we have won functionality, but maybe we have lost something special which future generations will completely forget.

    Greetings from Spain!
